January 16th, 19th and 20th

 At the airport Friday January 16th.

 Monday January 19th we went on shore to see what the city was like in Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas.  After walking around for a while we determined we would need to take a bus further in to find anything to do.

 We saw a lot of jewelry shops.

 We ate lunch in a little Mexican restaurant.

 We were going to take a tour but it started pouring rain so we decided to go back to the ship.

On Tuesday January 20th, on the elevator, another guest of the cruise took a picture of the rug in the elevator.  He said they did that every morning and that way they could keep their photo's straight.

We took grandpa off the ship with us today and found a man with a van willing to take us on a private tour of Basseterre, St. Kitts for $60.00.  We saw the most beautiful foliage and on our way there we saw the poorest homes.
